We are proud of our Aurora Tankers being awarded the Green Ship Certificate by Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA). This award recognises our innovative adoption of energy efficient ship designs that reduce fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.
The certificate was presented to Managing Director of IMC Shipping, Mr Frederik Guttormsen, at the Shipping Registry of Singapore (SRS) Forum 2021. Organised by MPA, this year’s Forum was themed “Your Partner in Quality and Sustainable Shipping” and coincided with the 55th anniversary of the SRS.
Mr Guttormsen said, “We thank MPA for recognising our efforts in going green. Industry support is vital in our sustainability journey as we increasingly adopt and integrate cleaner, greener and technology-based shipping practices in our business.”
